One of the best ways to get a man to cut his hair is to offer to do it for him or take him to a place which will do it for him professionally. There are more ways to do it than just the bowl look or completely shaving his head. Having a professional hair cut not only looks great but it can also help to make a man feel more confident too. If you have a man who prefers to cut it himself, it might be worth mentioning to him how good a certain sports star or celebrity looks with their latest hairstyle and how good it would look on them too. Appeal to a mans vanity to get him motivated to take action.
If your man is sporting the same cut since college then maybe it is time to remind him that the long shaggy look is no longer fashionable and that his hair is looking untidy. Show him pictures of some great hairstyles to perk his interest. There are a lot of men who will procrastinate about this regular grooming habit. They may have had the same style for years and just like knowing how to handle it. There are others who do not like salons. Whatever the reason if you want to get a man to cut his hair then telling him how good he will look is a big step.
Men often associate salons with women and idle chit chat. It may help him to take action if you direct him to a salon for men only. You have to remember that men can also be quite lazy and the thought of having to go through the hassle of a haircut can be enough to put them off.
Try looking at the hairstyles that their favourite sports player or celebrity has and see if you can bring it up in general conversation. If you nag and complain you will never get a man to follow through. You have to make him think that the idea is his own.
In the end to the only real way to get a man to cut his hair is to let him make the decision for himself.
